Our main building on Penrhyn Road Campus is home to conference facilities in Kingston with four meeting rooms for rent, four classrooms for hire and a computer room. The main building is also home to two beautiful lecture theatres – Clattern Lecture Theatre & Jacqueline Wilson Hall. Both of these lecture theatres are ideal conference facilities in Kingston and have large tiered seating capacities and a smart design with top of the range AV equipment, in built sound systems and microphones. They also benefit from disabled access with an induction loop system. Our Jacqueline Wilson Hall is named after the prized English author of the Tracy Beaker series and more than a hundred other famous children’s books.
Our wonderfully eye-catching glass building can hold a large number of guests and is usually home to our business and law students during term time. Harry George Hawker MBE, AFC was an Australian aviation pioneer involved in the design of numerous aircraft including a leading test pilot for Sopwith. His company, Hawker Aircraft was responsible for a series of successful military aircraft. Aptly named with engineering inspiration in mind, is our £4million Hawker Wing, which opened in 2007 is extremely smart providing a light, airy space. Classrooms for hire are available within this wing.
